PLANNER TAKEOVER: Tent Layout for 240-290 Guests

The second installment of our “Planner Takeover” series is by Mavinhouse Events, a collection of planners serving New England, New York, and Charleston. We thought it would be fun to have one of their talents – Ashley Tangerini, based on the North Shore of Massachusetts – dream up a creative yet functional layout for one of the largest available Sperry Tents to rent. Here’s the result:

LAYOUT for 242-290 guests under a 66′ x 126 Sperry Tent. This layout mixes table shapes in a fun, modern way. The 12 x 24 ft. stage is large enough for a multi-piece live band and the dance floor is center stage. Generously sized bars on both ends prevent against long lines and crowding, while double lounge areas give your guests a comfy hangout spot once their cocktail is ready.

Tangerini is no stranger to planning tented weddings and knows how important it is to prioritize a tent’s aesthetics. “Sperry Tents’ handcrafted canopies have become a staple for a New England wedding.
