July Wedding with Wildflower Theme in Sun Valley, Idaho
There’s a lot to love about this summertime wedding, held in the iconic ski destination of Sun Valley, Idaho. Collaborating with superstar planner Brooke Keegan and floral designer Sarah Winward, the couple wanted “a summer in the mountains” feel. Inspired by the valley’s natural wildflowers, the overall decor incorporated berry tones, muddy pinks, and plum foliage along with seasonal fruits.
To start things off, guests were taken via gondola to a lookout point one mile above sea level for the romantic ceremony. A fully floored 46′ x 106′ Sperry Tent by Sperry Tents Colorado awaited everyone afterwards. All the way from the East Coast, the Sultans of Swing kept everyone up and out of their seats on the dance floor.
Brooke, the bride, had this to say about her tent choice: “I knew that I wanted to have a Sperry Tent for the reception. The high ceilings were ideal for the setting and allowed guests to enjoy the beauty of our surroundings while at the reception. The inside of the tent was magical. The aesthetic for the entire evening was romantic and natural, utilizing the Sun Valley mountains and wildflowers as the inspiration. Sarah Winward created a gorgeous installation on the tent poles, with flowers trailing down to the floor and spilling around each base. And the tent had the most beautiful glow at dusk.”
