Dreamy June Wedding with Pinks and Blues Delights in the Hamptons
This was a weekend-long wedding to remember in Bridgehampton, including a pizza truck welcome party in Amagansett, cardio dance class for bride and friends, and a rehearsal dinner at the East Hampton Golf Club. The bride, Courtney, worked with planner Claire Bean on the festivities, which culminated in a tented reception for the record books by Long Island’s outdoor wedding specialist Sperry Tents Hamptons.
The design seamlessly blended two usually disparate approaches to a wedding: elegant and laid-back. The “elegance” factor reads everywhere: in the floral designs by Bean, in the couple’s flawless attire (that timeless Vera Wang gown!), and in the 66′ x 86′ Sperry Tent outfitted with bistros and drapery. But the laid-back elements – barefoot bridesmaids; lounge furniture on the lawn; Old Navy flip-flops for dancing; the couple’s dog, Penny, walking down the aisle – give this wedding its heart. The reception ramped up during the evening hours with props on the dance floor, passed cookies and ice cream sundaes, and a dress change and sparkler exit.
Courtney and Tyler’s wedding was featured on the wedding blog overthemoon.com.
